Dr.C.Savithri delivered the Dr.N.Subhadhra Devi memorial oration on 19th August. THe meeting was attended to the hall's full capacity. Students and consultants alike were in rapt attention to hear to the most respected Gynecologist of Guntur. She was awarded a medal in memory of Late Dr.Subhadhra Devi by Dr.A.Savithri. Dr.Kamala Jayaram was the Chair Person. Dr.Sarala Devi and others honored her with a Shawl.
Dr.Savithri spoke very precisely and her presentation slides were filled with most up-to-date subject, yet in most simplest terms. Her message was loud and clear : " Save the woman from the pain of labour and also avoid possible errors by planning and programming the labour timings so as to enable as many as possible specialists participate in labour if a need arises.
The meeting was a huge success. Reporters from major news papers interviewed her and took notes.
